YOUR INFORMATION IS YOURS

Privacy Policy

This policy explains how Numa handles information within the iPhone application.

Last updated: July 30, 2026

1. Information collected

Numa lets you record financial information that you provide, including accounts, categories, transactions, amounts, notes, budgets, and savings goals. This information is stored locally on your device using SwiftData.

The application also stores local preferences through UserDefaults, including currency, theme, onboarding status, and notification settings. An App Group shares only the summary needed by the widget to display your balance, daily spending, goal, and currency on your own device.

We do not collect identifiers, contact details, location, usage information, diagnostics, or advertising data.

2. How information is used

Information is used exclusively within Numa to calculate and display your balance, trends, statistics, budgets, goal progress, and widget content, and to perform the actions you request in the application.

3. Notifications

If you enable them, Numa asks iOS for permission to send local notifications when a monthly budget reaches 85% or 100%. These alerts are generated on your device. You can disable them at any time in Numa Settings or in system settings.

4. Import and export

You can export your transactions to a CSV file and import a compatible file. The location where you save, share, or back up that file is under your control and may be subject to the policies of your chosen storage provider.

5. Third-party services

The current version does not integrate Firebase, RevenueCat, analytics, advertising, crash reporting, or external APIs. It also does not use CloudKit or iCloud sync. The interface mentions iCloud only as a capability planned for a future version; this policy will be updated before any additional service is enabled.

6. Security and retention

Your data remains in local storage managed by iOS. Its protection also depends on your device's security measures, such as a passcode and any backups you have configured. Information is retained while it remains stored in the application or until you delete it.

7. Your rights and choices

You can review, modify, and delete transactions, budgets, goals, accounts, and categories within the application, subject to the integrity rules shown in the interface. You can also export your transactions as CSV, disable notifications, and remove app data by uninstalling the application, keeping in mind any backups managed by iOS.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when Numa features or services change. The date of the latest version will be shown at the top of this document.
